Jonathan Steele
Attorney
Overview
Jonathan Steele is an Associate Attorney at Bey & Associates, LLC, where his practice focuses on personal injury matters. Based in the firm’s Atlanta office, Jonathan also serves as supervisor of the pre-litigation department, helping guide matters through the early stages of a client’s case.
Jonathan earned his Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in 2018. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2015, with concentrations in Marketing and Management and a minor in Political Science. He is licensed to practice law in Georgia.
Before focusing his practice on personal injury, Jonathan gained experience as a prosecutor and in creditors’ rights. His exposure to different areas of the law has helped him develop a well-rounded approach to representing clients and evaluating legal matters.
Jonathan’s approach to client relationships is grounded in transparency, advocacy, and meaningful communication. He believes clients should have a clear understanding of their legal matters and the options available to them. He makes an effort to remain accessible, listen carefully, answer questions, and explain legal concepts and procedures in a clear and understandable way. At the same time, he remains focused on strongly advocating for his clients and protecting their interests.
Advocacy, fairness, and compassion are central to Jonathan’s legal philosophy. He recognizes that an accident or other incident can create physical, emotional, financial, and practical challenges that extend well beyond the immediate event. His goal is to advocate zealously for his clients, pursue equitable compensation for what they have endured, and help them move forward with their lives.
Outside of his legal practice, Jonathan participates in a panel with two fellow attorneys where they discuss anime and television shows through a legal lens. The group selects scenes and considers whether the conduct depicted would constitute a crime under Georgia law, combining their interest in entertainment with thoughtful legal discussion.
Jonathan is also guided by the words of Justice Thurgood Marshall: “Where you see wrong or inequality or injustice, speak out, because this is your country. This is your democracy. Make it. Protect it. Pass it on.”
