Overview
Meaghan Hicks is a Law Clerk at Bey & Associates, where she supports the firm’s legal team with the details that help keep cases moving forward. She currently works closely with the New Orleans office, assisting with client communication, correspondence, scheduling medical appointments, and other legal-assistant and paralegal responsibilities.
Meaghan earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Oakwood University and attended Stetson University College of Law. Before joining Bey & Associates, her professional background included sales and time devoted to raising her family. Her experience in sales helped shape a communication style centered on making people feel that they are valued as individuals, not simply as part of a transaction.
Meaghan approaches clients with empathy, professionalism, honesty, humility, and kindness. She believes clients should understand what to expect and feel that someone is looking out for them throughout the legal process. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, hiking, and spending time with her family. She is also an avid fan of horror.
