Devan Byrd is an accomplished trial attorney specializing in nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, and catastrophic injury cases. Since earning her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2017, Devan has dedicated her career to advocating for those who have suffered life-altering harm due to negligence or misconduct. Over the last seven years, Devan has been instrumental in recovering over $63,000,000 for clients across all practice areas.

Before founding her own firm, The Byrd Firm, Devan honed her skills as a trial lawyer at a plaintiff firm in Birmingham, where she played a pivotal role in securing over $49,000,000 in medical malpractice recoveries. Her exceptional ability to navigate complex legal matters and her dedication to her clients have established her as a trusted advocate and a tenacious litigator.

Outside of the courtroom, Devan enjoys spending time with her beloved doodle, Blue, tending to her garden, practicing Pilates, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. She is also an avid traveler, always eager to explore new destinations.
